"My new favourite Morecambe hotel. Stayed here twice now, should have tried it earlier. This is an older hotel, not slick and modern, so quirky, and the facilities are more basic, and may not suit you if you prefer modernity (try the Midland, and then pay for it!). More space in the rooms than many other hotels close by. Friendly staff, nice bar, a little quiet, which is fine by me, as there's a busy bar downstairs in the basement. Decent breakfast at a reasonable price"

"Late night check-in and stopover after getting off the Isle of Man ferry at midnight. The only place with 24 hour check in without going to Lancaster, 2nd time staying, got a newly renovated room, very comfy bed and a great breakfast the next morning. "We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly and it was great we could eat with our dog in the bar. The family room was very clean and good size. Not a great view of the fire escape but it didn’t matter for one night. In a great location in the seafront and easy to park outside on the road for free. "

"Nicely appointed room with comfortable bed, clean and modern bathroom (and power shower) with tea & coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a really powerful fan (needed in this warm weather). Slept well even though there was a pub nearby as it felt pretty quiet when the windows were closed. Smart TV was great as I could log intomall my own chanels. Only minor point was there was nowhere to hang up clothes - I think there was a nook for it, so maybe the rail was just missing. No problem...
