"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Hot breakfast options were ok, lots of options. Pool was really nice and comfortable (as a parent watching younger kids - the indoor outdoor pool room wasn't hot and stuffy as they usually are). The kids enjoyed it. Close to grocery store and some restaurants. Location is pretty quick to Sue Meg State Park and redwood hikes! Cookies in the evening at the front desk."

"We travel to the coast a couple times a year and always stay at Blue Lake Casino. It’s clean. Staff is friendly and on-site food is always good. My son enjoys the pool and I like the proximity to the ocean. It is perfect for traveling between the redwoods south of Eureka and Trinidad/ Patrick’s point to the north. "

"I highly recommend this hotel. I’ve been looking for a hotel that is safe with easy walkable distance to restaurants when I travel through on work. Highly recommend staying here. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that are walkable. And beds were comfortable and the hotel was very clean. The staff was also amazing and they had a good variety of food that was well stocked for their breakfast. "

Room was fine and breakfast was much better than usual. The employees seemed happy and could be heard laughing and chatting, that’s always a sign of good management
The only downside is the high crime rate in the region, which isn’t a reflection on the motel, but I didn’t have any problems during my stay
