"The place is big and has everything we need (blankets for cold nights or AC for hot weather, hair dryer, towels plus everything to cook). The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and just far enough from Santa Elena (5 min drive). You do need a 4x4 to get to Las Marias.
The host was very nice and accomodating with our arrival/departure times. We had a fantastic time. We would go back for sure!"

"Nous avons adoré cet hébergement. La piscine était parfaite surtout après une longue journée de randonnée. Nos enfants se sont beaucoup amusés. Le service fut impeccable. Nous avons même demandé s’il était possible qu’on coupe des branches d’un arbre, car celles-ci cognaient contre le toit et nous gardaient réveillés la nuit à cause des grands vents. Le lendemain, les branches étaient coupées! Emily a la réception nous a même aidé à trouver un guide pour un “Night Tour” qui était à 2 min d’auto....

"Honestly this place was great. I saw birds roght out my patio window and looked out to the mountains. It was a great value and the owner and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Take the short hike to the top of the property and enjoy an amazing view. This was such a cool place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable."

The room was great - clean, comfortable bed, spacious, great view. Breakfast was delicious. "The house, property and landscaping was amazing. The outdoor bed by the hot tub is covered and wonderful for napping. The view is amazing. I would definitely stay there again. The neighbors are really nice and washed our clothes. The gate made us feel safe and was easy to locate.

"We spent two amazing days at this beautiful hotel. Everything was special from the welcome to the cabins, the activities they offer and the wonderful staff who was always willing to go above and beyond. The restaurant was also great in terms of food offerings, quality and service. There were also special touches we didn’t expect like a game room and smores for the kids! "

"A beautiful mountain setting surrounded by nature and hordes of hummingbirds. We saw a trop of 15-20 Coati on the ride in one evening and dozens of hummingbirds at breakfast every morning. The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!"
