"Lovely stay! Plenty of room and patio is very comfortable as well. Down the street from main property, so accessing other on-site amenities like the pool is not as easy. Booked through Expedia and received different messaging and instructions through both Expedia and VRBO apps. But VRBO instructions were very good. Guest must message host through VRBO to actually reach them."

"A month living as Ticos in the Casa Amarilla - great people, beautiful location and reasonable price. We would recommend it for anyone looking for a long term rental in a quiet small town near La Fortuna. There are a multitude of entertainment activities in the area. We did not rent a car and found Uber and taxi transportation readily available. All the recommended staff were excellent. They were very kind, timely and helpful when minor problems occurred. "We loved staying at this lovely home just outside of la fortuna! the property was clean and well stocked and the host was so helpful and quick to respond!Highly recommend having your own car if you book this place as there isnt much within walking distance. no complaints from us though, we were aware of this and had no issues.we felt safe and my kids loved seeing the unique wildlife (birds, lizards etc) right on the property."

"Off the beaten path, which is OK, but there is no signage that you are entering the right road. The TV was missing from the bedroom. Couldn’t get our apps to work on the tv in the living room. Shower had some rotting trim. Ethernet cable were just run dangling along the walls. It was clean, and conveniently located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio."
