The village of Monteriggioni is surrounded by the intact circle of its towers that encircle its historic core and finds a place in Italian literature as the inspiration for the supreme poet Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy.

In less than 15 minutes you can visit the city of Siena, made famous by the Palio, held every year in July and August in the fascinating setting of Piazza del Campo. It will be fascinating to delve into its historical centre, divided into 17 Contrade, and try to reconstruct its history.
