"The staff were very friendly and helpful. We Loved our stay at the Mathis House Victorian Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room luncheon. Beautifully decorated. Loved all the food selections. both Tea & breakfast. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Had a cute shop also. We loved the selections of teas & bought some for home. Highly recommend staying here."
"The towel rod was missing from my bathroom. The queen bedroom door was difficult to completely close as it would get stuck. But there were no bed bugs and it was a short walk to the boardwalk. "

"We stayed for three nights and loved it. Directly on the boardwalk/beach. Free parking. We could walk everywhere. Beds were comfortable. Pet friendly (for a fee). If you aren’t super picky, this is a great spot. It has everything you need for a beach hotel. Room was large and had all the basics. The manager was super friendly and made it easy for us. We will definitely be back!"
"We were a bit unsure at first because the reviews were all over the place, but we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is in an amazing location—just a 2-3 minute walk to the beach and centrally located on the pier. Everything was very clean, relatively new, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The only downside is the limited paid on-site parking, but there are plenty of public lots nearby. Overall, a great stay—and we would definitely return!"

"This place is incredibly charming! The area is, too. The attached restaurant was wonderful, we ate outside on the back deck. Note they do not have a liquor license, but the place was packed - the food was so good, no one cares about the lack of liquor. It may be BYOB, ask ahead if you care. Do yourself a favor and get the Tuna Bites. We're hard to please foodies, and those things were little bites of heaven! We also loved the lamb chops. But back to the hotel...

"At check in the man set the tone for my stay! So pleasant. I was early & room was not ready. He gave me the badges for the beach, so I didn't miss a minute! The pool was beautiful & clean. Very happy short vaca - I'll be back!"
