"Overall it was a very nice property and hotel. Only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beach area is pretty small and the spot to access it had a couple homeless people smoking crack or whatever it was that was making him tweak out. I didn't feel unsafe but my wife didn't feel safe if she wanted to go to the beach alone. Pool area and all the grounds are very nice. Rooms are big and clean. Staff was great. The food you can buy near the pool was horrible. We had it for dinner one...

"The Outrigger was an amazing place to stay. We walked out the door and to the beach about 100 yards away. We went snorkeling right off the beach and saw turtles, and so many beautiful fish and coral. The people who ran the Outrigger had many complimentary, fun things to do at the hotel every day, like weaving baskets, hula dancing lessons, and learning to play different instruments. All of the people working there were very friendly and helpful. If we have the chance to go back to Maui, we...

"The resort was absolutely beautiful. It was kid friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurants and the markets gave us plenty of food options, and when we wanted some thing different, Whaler‘s Village is only a few yards down the beach. We loved the pools and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. You could have lunch by the pool or drinks. Hawaii is expensive but I felt like this resort was worth it."
