The apartment is laid out as follows:

- KITCHEN with refrigerator with freezer, induction cooktop, pod coffee machine, kettle, oven, wine glasses, various kitchen utensils, and a table for 4 people;

- MASTER BEDROOM furnished with 19th-century antique furniture, featuring a double bed, a Sicilian walnut desk, a dresser with a Sicilian cypress wood mirror, a flat-screen TV, and an EN SUITE BATHROOM (equipped with a shower stall, sink, bidet, and toilet);

- SECOND SMALL BEDROOM with a single bed;

- BATHROOM with a shower stall, sink, bidet, and toilet;

- SMALL TERRACE (shared with another apartment) at the entrance, filled with ornamental plants, with two armchairs, a table, and a beach umbrella.

- Please note that there are stairs leading to the apartment and steps at the entrance;

- Smoking is strictly prohibited on the property;

- You must keep both the front door on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi and the interior gate on the first floor closed at all times.

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating period and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Ragusa Climate Zone A: 5 hours per day from December 8 to March 7.



For check-ins between 9:00 PM and 1:30 AM, a surcharge will apply, payable in cash upon arrival, as follows:

EUR 25 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM

EUR 30 from 11:00 PM to 12:00

EUR 40 from 00:00 to 01:30

Check-in is not possible after 01:30, even for a fee



The property is located in the heart of Modica’s historic center, ideally situated for exploring the city’s rich Baroque heritage on foot. Just a short walk away is Corso Umberto I, the city’s true “living room,” dominated by the spectacular Mother Church of San Pietro and bustling with restaurants, trattorias, cafés, and gelaterias.



Within a few minutes’ walk, you’ll find some of Modica’s main attractions: the Collegiate Church of Santa Maria di Betlem, the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie, and Palazzo dei Mercedari, an ancient convent that also served as a quarantine hospital during the plague of 1709 and is now part of the city’s museum heritage and folk traditions.



Food lovers can also easily reach the historic Antica Dolceria Bonajuto, famous for its Modica chocolate tradition, while the Palazzo della Cultura—home to the Civic Archaeological Museum and the Chocolate Museum—and the charming Garibaldi Theater are located in the immediate vicinity.



A particularly prime location for experiencing the authentic atmosphere of Modica, alternating between strolls among Baroque architecture, culture, Sicilian flavors, and the characteristic streets of the historic center.



Comiso Airport is about 40 km away, while Catania Airport is about 130 km away.



The Modica train station is 1.2 km from the property.



To reach the property and fully explore the area’s attractions and the entire region, we recommend traveling by car. You can rent a car at the airport.

There are both free parking spaces (NOT guaranteed and CANNOT be reserved) and paid parking spaces near the apartment.
