"The property was gorgeous, really well decorated and the spa was lovely. Staff all really good."

"Lovely Victorian hotel in great location with a steep history. Unfortunately the hotel seems to be in a time warp and not in touch with modern day competition with regards to room quality tv, bed, furnishings. The dining options were extremely close windowed and not flexible. Breakfast was really poor quality with limited choice with many expected food items not bailable or offered. It seemed to be more in line with a seaside bed and breakfast offering rather than what appeared to be a 4 star...

"I stayed at The mount Inn for a weekend. The room was very clean and Tidy . I had dinner there which was lovely . Nice choice of food and very reasonable prices. The breakfast was lovely too ! The staff were very friendly and welcoming ! I would definitely stay there again . "

"A lovely place to stay with ample parking. Close to the hotel was some nice walks that you can go on. The room I stayed in looked newly furnished and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food; particularly the free breakfast had a wide range to choose from and was good quality. I would recommend this hotel."

"Such a warm welcome from Jackie and Jill, the room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious as was dinner and I was made to feel totally at home. Travelling solo for work I felt safe and looked after. I would not hesitate to highly recommend. "

"Beautifull venue, great and very friendly personell. Great room. One minor point, we had a room in the attic and with 30+ and only a ventilator is was very very hot for a long time into the night. But that is the only minor point the staff made up for it in friendlyness and service."

"We were in Wales when the weather was really good and then Lake Vyrnwy Hotel and Spa is magnificent. Absolute stunning view to the lake from the room and from the restaurant. The sunset is top top top. Really nice ambience and good possibilities to go for a walk and to cycle around Lake Vyrnwy. Can only recommend !!!!"

"Not sure how old this place is but it's fantastic to have the opportunity to stay here in a place that must have seen so much history. Montgomery itself is a gem - declaring an interest I grew up a few miles away and am fairly familiar with "Monty" - and though this visit is a wedding crashpad, we'll definitely take the opportunity to bumble around after we check out. Bottom line? Stay here, you won't regret it in the slightest. "
