The Space:

Overlooking the gorgeous gulf waters, this adorable second-floor studio is the perfect place to call home during your next surf-getaway to Miramar Beach! You'll have a private balcony with views of the beach, a tastefully designed interior with lots of comfortable furniture, and even a small kitchen area with a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a blender for those slushy cocktails. As a guest of Surfside Resort, you'll have access to a shared pool, a shared hot tub, a community fitness center, and even basketball and tennis courts, so you'll never run out of things to do while you're here. Be sure to pack a good set of street clothes, because you'll be near all kinds of restaurants, shops, and activities to explore.

Escapology Destin is less than a mile away with a live escape game that will challenge you and your friends to solve puzzles and gather clues to escape the room - if you can! Royal Palm Grille is just a few steps away with terrific seafood, and you'll have other fantastic restaurants nearby like Cabana Cafe, The Whale's Tail Beach Bar & Grill, and Acme Oyster House.

Amazing!!

Highly recommend this place. The condo unit itself is very cute and was SO clean when we checked in. View with balcony is so perfect and the fact that the condo has the beach chairs and umbrella service included is the best! Great place, will be staying here again. Overall property a little outdated but condo unit is updated and we were there for beach so it was perfect for us!

I want to start off saying that the location, the view and room decor was absolutely amazing. After reading the reviews we were so looking forward to an absolute wonderful place. Unfortunately that was not the case. We arrived for check in a little after 3p and were advised the room was still being cleaned . No problem at all, we ran to the store and came back. When. We got into the room, yikes. Not so impressed with the cleaning, French fries on the floor, leftover clothes in the drawers and even though the bedding was clean the mattress had stains and hairs. I read about the shower handle being broken so thought that since it was previously brought to the attention it would have been fixed. Nope still broken. They provided dishwasher soap but no dishwasher and no hand soap or bar for the bathroom so back to the store for that. The unit and building seems tired, someone tried to paint the wall behind the tv which is so noticeable since the color doesn’t match, the ceiling tiles in the small hallway are falling down with insulation coming out and mold is forming on the shower ceiling. We spent most of the time on the beach or balcony. I would not consider coming back here.

Breathtaking

The ceiling tile needs repaired, the a/c had outages, and the shower handle needs to be replaced because it would only flow ice cold or fiery hot. These are the reasons for an overall rating of 4. Otherwise the unit, staff and property were excellent.

Amazing view

Fantastic view over the beach. Room perfect for two adults on short get-a-way. Only issue was a slight bit of confusion when we checked in. Rode our motorcycle out, and apparently the property doesn’t allow them? Had to get “permission” from manager on duty. It worked out, but the restriction was not advertised

Property needs maintenance

The room is nice, however; there were ants in the balcony, room and bathroom. I have anaphylaxis reaction to ants. The bathroom has mold on ceiling and the air vent was noticeably dusty.I have lung issues.( I have photos). The mattress was way too soft and woke up w a sore back. One comfortable chair to sit in would have been nice. I did not like the power lines in my view off the balcony. I think these are more personal issues for me so I will not rent this unit again nor am I posting a negative review. On the positive side the unit is nicely appointed, the shower, vanity and kitchen area were very nice.The TV was a nice size and quality. The beach chair and umbrella was nice to have as well. There were plenty of towels etc….

Sweet unit for a single traveler

The view was amazing! The room was comfortable and very clean. The location of the condo was within walking distance to many restaurants/bars/coffee spots and a quick car ride to the numerous shops in the area. My only wish was that there was a little bit of lighting on the balcony for late night/early morning reading/dining. Thanks for the small, cute space!🙂

Location a plus

The location of this property is a huge plus! We loved being able to just walk to dinner and drinks or local shopping. The beach access was super easy and the perk of two beach chairs and an umbrella was even better. We just didn't find out about this until day two, when Curtis one of the attendants told us about it while we were in our own chairs. Now for the room, that had an amazing view of the ocean! The bed was very firm, almost too firm for my liking but most nights I was too tired from being out in the sun all day! There was a couple nights where we were woken up by people in the halls talking loudly on phones or just causing ruckus. There wasn't any place to hang towels in the condo, looks like it was broken. I had seen that mentioned a time before and it still hadn't been fixed. The room was very clean though. Could have used more than 1 roll of TP, we were told that we would have to furnish the remainder ourselves. Anyway, the place is very nice and we will definitely look forward to staying here again. We had a great time! Parking garage was a big plus!

Just Amazing

As soon as we opened the door my husband and myself both said wow. The room was beautiful and very clean! The view amazing! We brought a fan so we didn’t hear any outside noise from the restaurant etc I do suggest ladies bring a hair dryer because there is not one.

Get away weekend

Great property. Place was very clean. Price was good. Beautiful beach and water. Only thing I would have to change is the mattress. If you like a firm mattress then your good to go. Otherwise no complaints.

Great view, but find somewhere else.

The view was wonderful. From the get go, check in was awful. Staff was incredibly rude. The entire condominium had an awful smell. Come to find out, there was a dramatic leak in the lobby. Literally pouring water from the ceiling. It continued to drip the entire time. While it didn’t flood IN our room, mold concerns were high. We also had some safety concerns as daily when we returned from the beach, the balcony door was open even after being sure it was shut, and even locked. Housekeeping services were NOT there, so it was definitely not the housekeeper entering our room. When consulting the property manager, he hung up on me. The front office was also unhelpful. So, as adult women traveling alone this was extremely unnerving. There was also hair that was NOT ours on the wall of the shower on arrival. Bed was comfy, view was good — that’s all the positives I have.

Affordable Beach Vacation for Two

It was a great location, beautiful view, and perfect for two people vacation. There was a decent restaurant and bar at the resort. On Monday we went to a bonfire night on the beach hosted by the bar and it was lovely. You are very visible to the restaurant below but for the price I didn’t mind.
