Downstairs there is a fully-fitted kitchen & dining/living room with a woodburner and upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom & a bathroom (with shower). Duddings Country Cottages has a wealth of on-site facilities to keep you entertained all year round and no matter the weather! Enjoy the indoor heated pool and spa bath, which has changing and shower facilities. The pool and Spa bath are heated via a wood chip biomass boiler. The games room with pool table, table tennis table, table football and mini trampoline, also has a comfy 3-seater sofa and 2 armchairs and is a great place to relax, or watch the kids playing! On-site are the owners Shetland ponies, Freddie, Zag, Dixie and Ziggy who can usually be found grazing in the pony field. Kids will love Gate Lodge Play Centre, a 2-story playhouse with swings, a slide, a fireman’s pole and assault course to clamber over. Great fun for smaller children, with a table and bench nearby so that the adults can stay close by and watch. Also on-site is a hard tennis court, operating on a ‘turn up and play’ system, with racquets and balls are available to borrow. There is also a large Trampoline with protective barrier netting, and a football net situated in the ‘play paddock’ where guests can play cricket or badminton, fly kites etc. Please keep dogs on a lead in this area. As well as all this, there are also 9 acres of land to explore, with picnic areas and a river where you may spot a brown trout (if the heron hasn’t got them all!).
