"We were here for just one night and the property was fine for that. We could walk to the centre of Woburn Sands easily. It’s also not far from Milton Keynes shops. It had everything we needed except for a hairdryer but maybe there was one once. Small items like this often vanish. Also there is only one chair and if we’d been staying longer we would have appreciated a second one. But overall we are very happy with our short stay and would use it again "

"I loved the interior decor of the hotel and the ambience. The rooms were in good condition for the age of the property. All the staff were super friendly and helpful but at times there were not enough especially at breakfast time. The breakfast choices were a bit similar with brioche buns or sourdough on most dishes making it hard to choose if bread is not your thing. "

"The property was clean although a bit tired. Quite a few fittings hanging off. Note there are 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, not 3 bathrooms as advertised. Bedrooms functional but very cramped. The owner required a £300 deposit via bank transfer in order to release the keys on the day of check-in, and then didn't refund or communicate for a week after the the rental, despite me making numerous calls and messages. Refund came eventually, but communication was non existent."

"Hotel La Tour is a lovely hotel and probably one of the best ones in Milton Keynes. The rooms are big with good comfort, and the view is incredible. We stayed for 3 nights and it was nice too see a refill of the coffee/tea stand after a couple of nights. We were slightly unlucky with a couple of things during our stay: 1. The fire alarm went off at like 3.30 AM. It turned out to be a false alarm which was good but evacuation in the middle of the night is never fun. 2. We extended our check-out...

"After reading the reviews I was a bit worried about staying here, but I needn't had worried. The staff were friendly and helpful, the accommodation was actually really nice. Better than I was expecting. It's not the Ritz so don't except 5 star cleanliness, but it was better than I thought, it was clean, cozy and warm. We stayed in a 2 bed comfort cabin with 6 of us and it was fine for what we needed. Love the theming as it made it more fun. "

"We had such a wonderful stay here, particularly loving the stable room with its peace and quiet and enormous king bed. We arrived late and went for a walk around the Secret Garden at sunset which was completely magical .. followed by delicious food and cocktails in Harry’s Bar. I have to say the bar and serving staff were exceptional, friendly and smiling and welcoming, on a busy night they remained top class throughout. Highly recommend this hotel for a romantic break, it pressed our reset...
