"The rooms and the whole hotel was nice and clean. The hotel was fully booked, but we didnt hear any noise.
I did request a room on the top floor a month prior to check-in, which was not granted, but other than that, it was a nice comfortable stay. "

"We liked the convenience of this property to the university and walking around town. There are many shopping and dining options within a short distance. The room was clean and the hvac was quiet. Music from a neighboring establishment was bothersome on a Saturday night, but I suppose that comes with the downtown convenience. We would repeat on our next visit to the area."

"This hotel used to be a 5 star hotel.
The staff was not welcoming at all. They were all day in and out starring at their pc. Not a ‘hello’, ‘goodnight’, nothing, except for the night shift.
The evening shift told me to in order to get ice cubes, I would have to go up on the 5th floor, to get my icebag. Then take another elevator to the 1st floor.
Luckily the night security and night shift were customer service friendly enough to help.

"I was allowed a way early check-in, which I am thankful for, but unfortunately it doesnt even out the disappointment.
I had to request a turn over 3 times (i was staying 8 days). When I finally got my turn-over, I was still missing toilet paper, cups and extra trash bags.
I did however get a towel with a noticeable hole, cleaning supply and more bottles of shampoo and lotion that anyone could ever use in an 8 day stay.
The room was very dusty and we found dead bugs in the room. "

"The facility is very clean. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed... wow! It was so comfortable! We liked the assortment of pillows. There was a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. Everything in the room worked. My only complaint was the lighting - even with the curtains opened, the room wasn't very bright. "A sweet mom n’ pop property run by a lovely young family. Cheaper than anything in State College and right on the doorsteps of The Waffle Shop and a wonderful Greek restaurant, I always make this my budget friendly stay when I’m visiting my son at PSU. It’s a rare find."
