Lovely boutique hotel
Excellent cosy boutique hotel with fantastic service, lovely breakfast, perfect location. Small details like free water, fruit, asking to our well being, helping us to recommend a place that could organise sold out tickets, really nice!

Central location, clean and modern
Fantastic central location but don’t try to drive to the front door. Park at nearby Plaza Virgin de La Peña Parking. A short work including stairs. Rooms very clean and modern. Comfortable bed and good shower. Good breakfast and friendly service.

Mijas Pueblo is a beautiful hillside village and this lovely boutique hotel is excellently placed right in the centre, and yet is quiet and tranquil. Our apartment in the hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained with every facility that you need. The team who checked us in and looked after us were great. I warmly recommend this property to anyone wishing to explore this wonderful area; but you’ll struggle to decide which bars and restaurants to enjoy first!

The property's in very good order with a style of it's own and the staff are very friendly. Check in was smooth and our room was ready for our arrival. All in all a big thank you to the staff for a lovely stay.

Opuntia is right in the middle of Mijas village. The rooms were bright and modern. The towels were thick and fluffy and everywhere was spotless. The breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel was well in excess of our expectations, clean, spacious, & welcoming, the staff (all ladies) were friendly, attentive & helpful, & each of the attributes seemed genuine, breakfast was a delight (if not a little too much for our appetites) one criticism, the front rooms overlook the street & although not constant, late/early passers by, we found disturbing (ear plugs solved the problem) young people probably wouldn’t notice, so next time & there will be a next time we would prefer a back room other wise, excellent 👌

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very spacious and newly renovated. We were provided with a coffee pod machine, bar fridge with plenty of water and fresh fruit. Breakfast was good too. Definitely great value 👌

Newly renovated, clean and fresh accommodations. Staff was outstanding. You cannot find a better made to order breakfast anywhere. Location and venue were unique and superb.

We have been traveling in Spain for the past couple of months and some friends from Mijas recommended the hotel, and they were right. Opuntia is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in in Andalusia. The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the village, but very quiet. The quality of the accommodation is superb. It has been designed and finished to a very high standard. It is beautiful1
