"Great for those a tight budget. Clean, comfortable and convenient to Columbia shopping and restaurants. Few amenities. Only electrical outlets was over the bathroom sink. "

"there was a horrible smell of mildew when entering our room. The air conditioner was off and so once turning that on, it helped a little. The walls are very thin…could hear the people/tv next door late into the night…thank goodness for ear buds! Paybacks came when we returned the noise the next morning at 6 am :). Wont be staying there again."

"This hotel was great for a stay in downtown Columbia. My only complaint was that the tv was hard to figure out how to get to channels once you turned it on. I wish there had been instructions or something. Overall we enjoyed the bar and restaurants and location. Hotel was a little pricey overall."

"The Terrible rating is really on using Expedia. Expedia is a big hassle to use them when things change unexpectedly. Very difficult to talk to anyone about a change. The savings is not worth the headaches. Yes i could have bought the insurance, but then it eats into the savings, so why use them?. I will never use Expedia again! i would rather pay full price for a hotel with the knowledge of I can simply call the hotel and rearrange things easily."

"Hampton Inn is always a very reliable hotel for quality, safety and top notch amenities. The price is not always affordable for us but…in most cases we get what we pay for and Hampton speaks for itself in being in the Hilton family. "Room had bugs and bugs in bed, stunk and double charged for all 3 rooms. Staff was rude and still arguing to try to get bill cleared up."
