"We enjoyed our stay at St Ives. The staff were so polite and helpful. One staff member (David) came by to check that everything was alright with our room and then offered to make a fire in our veranda grill stove while we went out to buy meat for dinner. When we came back from the store there was a wonderful fire there, ready for us to start grilling immediately. What service!"

"I really enjoy the Lodge. Perfect for Self catering and they really pay attention to the little details. Home made delicious biscuits every night, setting up the fire and making sure the chalet is warm for your return. They also supply you with firewood and we were gifted an amazing bottle of wine when we left. The staff are friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return"

"The rooms themselves were great and the breakfast was delicious. However, there is a shared kitchen which is available to prepare any other meals…it is not in good condition at all and needs some serious TLC if the space is to be offered for guest use. For example the oven is FILTHY, the sink is perpetually full of used, dirty dishes and cutlery/crockery/glasses/cookware all need to be upgraded/replaced. I think the shared space is a great idea, but it has to be drastically improved to reflect...
