"Staff were very courteous and accommodating, and gave helpful suggestions about the local area. Breakfast was made to order at our chosen time. Unfortunately, I thought the room looked rather tired and I found the bed quite uncomfortable, with hard ridges across the mattress all the way down. The bathroom in our room was OK but quite small. There were no shelves or anywhere to put toiletries or cosmetics. "

"On the positive side, communication was excellent with quick replies via WhatsApp. The bed was very comfortable, the room (Parisian Garette) looked cosy, and the nearby café had friendly staff and nice cakes - pastries cold though. Unfortunately, there were many small issues that negatively affected the stay. The pizzeria, café, and spa are advertised as hotel facilities but are actually separate businesses, which feels misleading. The Wi-Fi was advertised as 25+ Mbps but only reached around...

"A beautiful remote property, situated in the countryside. 10 minutes walk to a lovely, award winning pub with stunning food and friendly staff. 15-20 minutes drive to the nearest supermarket. The owners of this property, who live next door, were very welcoming and friendly. They've thought of everything, including a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter. There were a few other thoughtful treats but i wont spoil the surprise. Cleanliness of the cottage is definitely a 10/10. Cant fault...

"Amazing stay! From the gentleman at check in, to the room to staff at breakfast, everything was superb. Hotel is really really lovely, our room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Lovely touch having ice cold water and fresh milk in the mini fridge as well for tea and coffee. Bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was simply amazing - all complimentary, food was of a very high standard and staff couldn't do enough for you. Even on check out, the gentleman remembered why we were there...

"Last weekend we stayed at the Wiveton Bell for two nights. I have to report that the pub has changed hands since we were last there. The room we had was well appointed; a small snug with two easy chairs, coffee table and sideboard ......kettle, coffee machine, magazines etc.... and a separate roomy bedroom with a TV and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space plus a modern ensuite.  We had several issues regarding the room. "I am afraid the experience was like 30 years ago. The rooms are clean but very dated. New bathroom though. Biggest issue was heating. We arrived at 3pm to a cold room. They had to change the heating timer for the whole hotel to warm our room … or so we were told. Later at 8-9 in the evening when we returned to our room the heating was already off again and the shower was Luke warm. The following morning was fine though. "
