"My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at the Parkgate Hotel. The surrounding area is close to everything and vibrant with student life on the weekends, so coming home to the Parkgate is such a haven after experiencing all that (excellent) chaos. The hotel was perfect: the bar was well-tended and cozy (and beautiful), the lobby was grandiose, the staff was attentive and kind, and the rooms pleasant and clean. We couldn't want for more. "We stayed at this hotel recently and couldn't really fault it. The rooms are clean, modern and stocked with essentials such as tea, coffee, water and biscuits. The beds were super comfortable and the hotel itself is lovely. The only downside is that the spa closes to guests at 10:00, after which point I am guessing you must make a paid booking. This was rather disappointing as I had hoped to utilise the spa after breakfast but was unable to do so before going home. Still a lovely place...
