"Great hotel. The 3rd floor hallways smelled like essential oils and other smell good fragrances. The room was large. The beds looked like king sized beds although they were actually queen bed. The room looked to have been renovated recently and was very nice. The bedding was super comfortable. "

"This was located right off the interstate and easily to find. No elevator and our suite was on the second floor with outdoor stairs. Not an issue for us but could be for others. Initially the hostess told us our hotel room was smoking even though the description on hotels.com said non smoking so we went to look at it before paying to see. Glad that there wasnt smoke smell so they must have cleaned it well. Beds were comfortable and it was relatively quiet. Small bathroom but again not an issie...

"My family and I always have a wonderful time when we stay at Basswood Resort. The staff are all so helpful and kind. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. The only thing I didn't like was the cabin being covered in ants inside and on the back porch. But that won't stop us from coming back, though. I'll just make sure to bring ant spray next time! "

"The one draw back was the TV remote. If i press the on but, the TV should come on. That did not happen. I should not have to call the front desk to figure out how to use the remote and turn on the TV. Other than the the hotel, room and service was great. Complimentary coffee but no FREE breakfast. "
