On Lake Shore Drive, Across St From Beach & Beach Stop, Lake MI Views

Located on Lake Shore drive directly across from the beach, and perched atop a sand dune offering amazing views of Lake Michigan, and even the Chicago skyline on clear days. Across the street from two beach stops, from outside you can get to the beach using either the front stair case or using the sloped driveway and street to the beach for a no stairs route. From the screened in covered front porch relax to the soothing sounds of the nature, waves and sights of boats gliding across the horizon. We frequently see lots of nature including bluejays, orioles, cardinals, hawks, deer and more. For over 120 years classic beach home has created long lasting memories for guests year after year.

About an hour drive from downtown Chicago with over 60 feet of Lake Shore Drive Frontage and miles of sandy beach. Across the street from stop 9 Sheridan Beach. About 6 stairs to 1st floor of house. About 15 stairs to 2nd floor (please note the stair case is narrow and does not have hand rails please see photos). Gig speed fiber internet and wifi.

We have 2 queen sleeper sofas on the front porch. The front porch does not have drapes, heat or ac, but has storm windows, screens, and gets frequent lake breezes, also has storm windows. Dining room table that comfortably sits 6, dine to Lake MI sunsets. There is 1 bedroom on 1st floor with queen size bed, extra linens and pillows in cabinets under the bed, room darkening shades. Living room with queen sleeper sofa, separate sitting area, ceiling fans, TV, Apple TV with Fubo TV cable and several streaming service options.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms both with king size beds with extra linens and pillows are under the bed. Upstairs there is a nook overlooking Lake Michigan futon couch that folds flat and also into chaise lounge. Pack n play with changer in 1 bedroom. 2nd small 1/2 bath upstairs, and sitting area.

Home comfortably sleeps 6 adults, more using 3 queen sleeper sofas, futon in upstairs nook, couch and/or air mattresses. HEPA air cleaners and ceiling fans in all bedrooms.

Outside we have a fire pit, grill, picnic table, enclosed outdoor rinse station with privacy door. Rental includes house, shed, no access to detached garage. Shed is stocked with beach toys, chairs, stroller, beach wagon, land more. Washer, dryer in the unfinished basement. The fireplace is for decorative purposes only and is not operational. We will not be present but available via text, email or phone should you need us. We have exterior ring cameras, there are no cameras indoors in tenant areas.

We are down the street from Washington Park including the zoo, outdoor concert, park, splash pad, beach restaurant and more. Across the street and two doors down from stops 8 & 9 Sheridan beach access. Approx 1.8 miles to Lighthouse Place Outlet Mall, and downtown Michigan City shops, restaurants, Blue Chip casino, Michigan City Amtrak Station (to/from Chicago) and more. Short drive to Four Winds Casino, South Bend, Notre Dame, Valpo, La Porte, Three Oaks, and more.
