"It was built in the 1830s, as I recall. It is very pretty. Huge garden. Beautiful stained glass windows. An interesting walking path or two. We had a large balcony that was very nice. We were there on night so we did not get to take advantage of everything. I would recommend at least two nights if you want to take advantage of everything available. "

From there to get to the property you need to clime 500 metras in up hill. There's no groccery stores, no cafe or restaurants. I was told that tap water is drinkable.. other than that I it's like a well kept , all clean rooms. I, and there's no shampoo. You clime up, got into property, want to wash hair? Only liquid soap is...

The food in the restaurant was excellent and very good value for money. Parking at the front of the hotel costs extra but there is a free car park at the rear. Rooms are accessed via a labyrinth of corridors, staircases and a lift. There are signs to assist you.
