Neighborhood & Setting
Our home is located in a traditional Western Maine mill-town setting along the river. The paper mill across the water is part of the area’s working history and may be visible from certain rooms.
Because this is an active mill community, there can occasionally be industrial noise and, depending on wind direction, paper mill odors.
Most guests book our home for its comfortable layout, value, and convenient access to skiing and outdoor adventure. If you’re looking for a secluded mountain cabin experience, this may not be the right fit — but if you want a clean, well-equipped basecamp for exploring the region, we think you’ll enjoy your stay.
