“Bella Vita” is a spacious apartment in the charming town of Menaggio, located on the shores of Lake Como. From the large furnished terrace, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake and the mountains. For your relaxation, there are two outdoor pools shared with other residents—one rectangular and one round with a whirlpool. Additionally, to ensure maximum comfort, the apartment is equipped with air conditioning. This is the perfect place to spend your vacation in total serenity.

This apartment can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. It features two bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with a French bed) and two living areas, one of which has a double sofa bed. There are also two bathrooms: one with a shower and one with a bathtub/shower combination. The living area includes a modern kitchen equipped with everything you may need. The apartment also offers a washing machine, a dryer and free superfast Wi-Fi Starlink (200+ Mbps throughout the entire apartment)

ACCESSIBILITY
After passing through the property\'s gate, a few steps to the building’s main entrance. Once inside, one flight of stairs is required to reach the apartment.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
Menaggio is a charming town located on the picturesque shores of Lake Como. One of the highlights of Menaggio is its stunning lakeside promenade, which offers panoramic views. Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade and immerse yourself in the tranquility of the lake. Outdoor enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise in Menaggio. The surrounding area offers a myriad of activities, from hiking and mountain biking in the nearby mountains to water sports such as sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding on the lake. Nature lovers will also appreciate the abundance of hiking trails that lead to breathtaking viewpoints, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of Lake Como.
Menaggio is also a gateway to exploring other towns and villages around Lake Como. You can easily take a ferry to visit Bellagio, Varenna, or Tremezzo, each offering its own distinct charm and attractions.
GETTING AROUND
For convenience, we recommend our guests to reach the apartment by car. The apartment is approximately a 5-minute drive from the centre of Menaggio. It is less convenient by public transportation, although there is a bus service, the ASF C10 line, that connects Como to Menaggio, from the centre of Menaggio you will need to get on another bus to reach the area where the apartment is located - the ASF C14 line.
In Menaggio, you will also find the pier, from which local ferries will take you to Como, Bellagio, Varenna, and other towns around the lake Please note – if travelling in high season, we advise you to be patient with long waiting lines at the ticket office. Tickets can also be bought online on the Navigazione Laghi website. The mid-lake ferry also transports cars.
From Como San Giovanni station, there are regular trains departing to Milano Centrale and Switzerland (Lugano, Bellinzona, Locarno). From Como Nord Lago, there is a train connection to Milano Cadorna.
The nearest airports are Milano Malpensa, Milano Linate, and Orio Al Serio in Bergamo. It is possible to arrange a direct shuttle to and from the airport at an additional cost.

TIPS
>We advise you to take a day to visit the marvellous little towns around the lake. The little towns are gems with glorious lakeside villas.
>To travel and walk around Lake Como, especially in the little towns, comfortable shoes are a must.
>There are many public drinking-water fountains in the area, and the water is safe to drink unless stated otherwise. Tap water is also drinkable. You can carry your own refillable bottle!
>If you are looking for a relatively easy hike in the area and want to enjoy mountain views anyway, Lake Como Greenway is an easy-to-follow trail that doesn\'t require too much walking uphill. It connects the little towns from Colonno to Griante. A bus will take you from Menaggio to the starting point in Colonno.
>Look for traditional restaurants where you can try local foods such as Lake Como fish dishes.
>In Italy, many shops (especially the little ones) and services are closed in the middle of the day, so be careful to plan your shopping accordingly.
>Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe and the deepest in Italy. Swimming and diving are prohibited in many areas and can be dangerous. For those who wish to dwell in the water, however, there are some options. There is a beach (“lido”) in Menaggio. Locals and visitors also enjoy traveling to Nesso where the bravest swimmers can jump into the lake from the ancient Roman bridge near the waterfall.
Lido di Bellagio and pebbly San Giovanni beach will be waiting for those who wish to travel farther and explore the beautiful town of Bellagio which lies in the middle of the two Larian branches.
>Lake Como is located in a mountainous region. The surrounding pre-Alps might not seem very high, but the climate is nevertheless affected by the nearby mountains, and temperatures can change quickly. Be particularly attentive to the weather when hiking, and bring some warm and waterproof clothes with you!
