We have been a keen member of this hotel chain and loved every bit of our past stays. This time was different;
While in the female change/sauna room, a male technician came in and began his work on a broken steam sauna. No warning, no previous notice, just a sign post that he brought in, saying “male staff at work”. The man left after I almost screamed to do so. Complained to the reception staff, who said “don’t know why the steam sauna didn’t have a closed sign”, clearly not understanding the layout of the change room or the distress it caused in us. The reception staff wrote back, instead of coming face to face, with a very small portion of refund. No phone call, no apology from the management since then. I would have loved to go back there but extremely scared of doing so. Please everyone be careful.
