"Overall a great resort. I dont think that any place in Fiji, including this hotel, is going to win the world cup in organizational skills. So dont expect perfection. But they fully compensate for this by great service and extremely helpful, kind, and child-friendly. The staff is always there to help and will happily stop whatever they are doing to talk to the kids. Pools seems to be naturally heated only but this is fine for the Fiji climate - even for our 2-year old who enjoyed the nice kids pool. We had morning and evening buffet and this was of good quality - without being perfect it was definitely among the better buffet experiences we have had. The resort is located on a man-made resort/ tourist island and there are no buses going out of the island - only taxis. There are a few shops etc just outside the resort so there is no urgent need to travel - but to get to the main island, shop on the local markets and support the local population - you need a taxi."

"family of three, travelling with a baby. We really enjoyed our stay! Amazing service and very kids friendly staff and facilities. The pool area was great and so good that you could snorkel right from the beach. Food was great and the selection good, we enjoyed the breakfast, lunch and dinner all 6 days of our stay. Breakfast stands out as one of the best breakfast buffets we have ever tried. Lunch and dinner resonable prices compared to other places."

"The rooms are often overrated price wise but if you manage to get a discounted price, smugglers is great for a couple of nights. The beds are very comfy. Shower is hot with good pressure. The rooms might not be new, but clean and well maintained. The kitchen and menu is the downside of the place. Menu is uninspiring lacking local dishes and the service is very slow. I ordered a crispy chicken wrap and a juice, which took 45 minutes to arrive. When it finally arrived it was not crispy chicken, but just normal grilled chicken and the juice was also different from what i ordered. "
