"We had an amazing experience at Villa Vager. We were greeted by a very friendly host who took our bags up to our second level room. The room was spacious and so cozy. We had to leave early in the am to get to the airport so they accommodated us with an early breakfast. They brought the food up to our private veranda and it was very delicious. We wish we could have spent another few nights, maybe next time! "

It's in a great location. The city center and the port of Kalamata are relatively close by if you go by car. They have a large parking area in the front. But, to be honest, the hotel is so amazing that you won't want to leave.
The staff is very friendly. They upgraded our room, and we were so excited. We got to stay in a room that had its own private pool and garden.

However, the a/c system hardly worked, the breakfast buffet was poor, and the hotel needs a bit of a fix-up in various places. Staff is very friendly, but avoid the older, rude male receptionist."
