"We enjoyed our stay at Riu Palace. It was a bit of a long journey to get to the island but staff helps you along the whole way. There was a bit difficult communication in our situation as our domestic flight was cancelled and we weren’t notified of this but eventually it was sorted. The vibe is very much charter holiday which wasn’t super appealing to us. But overall we had a nice stay and staff was friendly."

"We have been to Maldives 10 times and this island is in top 3. Food, service and activities are all good. If we should mention a couple of small things that could be improved, it should be the availability of ice cream during the day. We stayed 8 nights and never met the ice cream wagon. Got some ice cream in restaurants but only boring ice scoops in 3 flavors. We missed a shower outside the pool villa, so we could shower after going into the sea or pool. Part from that, we really enjoyed our stay and almost all staff where very kind, smiling and helpful. It is the only island we have been to, where they greet you with a hand to their heart. Really respectful people here and the house keeper Mizan from Bangladesh is best we have ever had."
