"The room was the most basic ive probably ever seen or stayed in. The shower smelt really bad, of drains and im not sure where they pulled the photos from for this hotel but it wasnt the same hotel. Luckily we we're only using as a base for watching the gladiators at utilita arena. Plus was the bed was very comfy and breakfast was ok too."

"Loved Staying here before the theme park Season really kicked off. My only issues are that checking out its best to do after 7.00. due to needing to phone to unlock the main doors if you require to leave before 7.00
Checking Inn at a late time can be problematic due to the main Gate connects to someones Mobile and Signal in the area is extremely poor"

"A very nice stay with friendly , welcoming and efficient staff, great evening meal. Pleased with the room, and a 7 minute walk to the botanical gardens and other park. Nice residential area, but plenty of amenities and restaurants nearby. Would like to go back sometime"

Rigtig mange dør og faktisk så mange at man kunne fare vild.

"We had 2 rooms one of which was accessible for an elderly relative. The accessible room on the ground floor was big enough for a wheelchair and had a huge wet room. The other room was a huge double with another large bathroom including spacious rain head shower cubicle.
Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable.
There was no air con but fans were provided.
There were also plenty of sockets beside the beds for plugging devices.
Both rooms had a coffee machine with pods and fresh milk...

"Far enough away from City Centre but not so far you feel isolated. It is a quaint converted 19th century mansion property with a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant on the ground floor was always full of locals so you know the food is good. Everything you would expect from a local inn. Free, delicious chocolate chips cookies everyday!

"Der var meget lydt på hotellet, så meget at man kunne høre hvad folk skulle på toilet. Ventede på min bøf i 50 min. Da den kom var den total rød inden i. Ventede yderlig 25 min. På maden. Tjenerne ignoreret total en. Dårlig service generelt. Afventede en pakke til hotellet, det kunne de heller ikke finde ud af og give besked om. Kommer der ikke mere, det er helt sikkert.

Can’t fault this place in any way, stopped here to be in the area for the snooker at the Crucible in Sheffield, it was a 20 minute taxi ride from here to Sheffield Town Centre. As Arnie said….. "The Devonshire is perfectly located in the hills around Chesterfield. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully appointed rooms with comfy beds and super quiet with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Dining options in the pub restaurant were vast and the food delicious with a really friendly team. Final bonus - REAL MILK provided in the fridge for proper morning coffee. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you team Devonshire. "

Every single member of staff we encountered from the reception team to the breakfast staff to the cleaners were all so friendly and cheerful - it really makes a difference to your stay. "
