"This was our second stay at this property, and we hope to return. It is very spacious and perfect for kids!"

"Perfect location for our trip to Gettysburg. House was neat and had everything we needed. Easy to book and communicate with owner."

"Amazing does not even touch how this property is. We are already planning our next trip!"

"First- it is beautiful property! The cows, horses, kittens… simply adorable! Then the fresh flowers, fresh eggs and A2 milk were such a surprise! My family swam in the pool every morning and every evening! Plenty of pool towels, shower towels, pillows etc. A variety of tea, coffee pods and creamers was enjoyed."

"This house was a great find! Bedrooms were big and comfortable and the outdoor area was huge and lovely. Thanks for a great stay!"

"The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. We were even able to have our grandchildren visit for a family dinner, some games of cornhole, and finished with the host-provided s’mores...

"Nice and local to everything"

"This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay."

"Absolutely wonderful place. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful neighborhood with beautiful scenery."

"My wife and I chose this home to stay during our trip to Gettysburg National Battlefield. We found the following to be great -1. Pet Friendly2. Great location for access to the town and battlefield.3. Home had all the amenities one could want and all helpful.4. Historical Home!5. Home was beautiful inside and comfortable.6. Of all the places we have stayed during our travels, this rates as the best.7. We will look at this home first if we decide to visit again.Thank You for the Hospitality"

"We used Applewood Landing as a home base for a few days while we explored nearby Gettysburg. Most attractions we only about a 10-15 minute drive. The home was gorgeous and well appointed. Plenty of towels were provided to enjoy the pool and hot tub and all the light switches were labeled, which was very helpful.Highly recommend"
