Welcome to Whiskey Lodge at Massanutten!

Located on Massanutten Resort, you will find your mountain home at the end of a quiet street while still being minutes away from award-winning restaurants and attractions. This four-bedroom, three-bathroom home sleeps eight people and includes three queen beds and one twin over a full bunk bed. Whiskey Lodge will bring many laughs and good times to be remembered forever.
 
Gather for a mountain escape to the stunning Shenandoah Valley. Whiskey Lodge provides the perfect accommodations for families and friends needing to get away from everyday life. The home's top floor features two bedrooms with queen-sized beds and one bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed. The chef in the group will enjoy serving meals from the fully equipped kitchen and grill on the deck. After a day of sightseeing and playing, the fun isn't over yet. The downstairs level features a variety of board games, cards, and vintage ski decor. See who has the best aim in a competitive dart tournament while sipping on your favorite beverages from the bar. The downstairs level also has one bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bathroom, and a large laundry room. Nature, mountain wildlife, and scenery are enjoyed most while relaxing on the wrap-around porch.
 
Although Whiskey Lodge will feel like a secluded mountain getaway, it is located on-site at Massanutten Resort which features exciting attractions such as the Indoor/Outdoor Waterpark, Family Adventure Park, two golf courses, hiking trails, and more. Whiskey Lodge also includes free access to resort pools and recreation centers. Once you are finished enjoying all that the resort offers, we suggest a trip to nearby local communities for some of the Shenandoah Valley's best outdoor recreation, dining, and entertainment options.

Please note that the passes provided allow access to the following Recreational Centers at no additional cost: Massanutten Fitness & Rec Club includes a fitness room, indoor pool, game room, hot tub, co-ed steam and sauna rooms. Woodstone Recreation includes a game room, indoor basketball court, racquetball courts, indoor & outdoor (seasonal) pool, and tanning bed.

Check-In begins at 4 pm. Your keyless entry code will begin granting access at this time. Check-Out is at 10 am.

The house is beautiful, clean and accommodating, it was easy to get in contact with the property managers. We had such a great and comfortable time.

Very, very clean cabin, roomy, had a well-equipped kitchen, comfy primary bedroom bed, cozy cabin atmosphere, enjoyed watching families of deer in the back yard. Other than a few minor issues, this cabin was perfect for our needs, price was decent, and we are already planning to come back next year and would most definitely stay here again. Issues: one missing remote and other remotes that were not paired/working. Management brought other remotes that also did not work, I gave up and we made do. Upstairs bathtub clogging up (not reported to me til halfway through our stay, I’m sure if I had told management, they would have addressed it) Start button on washing machine needs replacing. Kitchen would be more functional with a small island, there’s plenty of room.

We enjoyed family and friends at this mountain getaway. Visiting my daughter attending JMU, this house was great for family and friends and we could bring our family dog, which my daughter especially appreciated. The house was just as listed, clean, and comfy. We enjoyed playing games at the big kitchen table, enjoyed meals together and just chillaxin. We will be back!!!

We loved the layout of the home. It was very comfortable and ideal for multi-family situations. The neighborhood was quiet and wooded. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and all instructions were easy to follow. We would definitely stay here again.

My family booked this place for a trip to Massanutten. It was a great location and a really nice, comfortable stay. Communication was easy and we had everything we needed. Beautiful place and very clean. If I had to think of anythi g to change, maybe provide a few more towels and the beds were a little firm. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time. Thanks. We will definitely book again!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property. Clean and nicely decorated. Only negatives: No dish sponge, salt or pepper and no ice maker. Those are very minor issues. Just our notes. We may rebook this property in the future. We loved it!

Property and location were great. Plenty of space for eight people (we only had our family of six although we had originally planned for eight) - there was the water pressure issue at the beginning due to a water filter that needed changing but was fixed right away so it was a perfect spot for us and our planned winter sports events.

My family was traveling to visit family in Virginia and we wanted to stay at Massanutten. We found this property and we immediately felt it would fit our needs perfectly. We were correct. The property looks exactly like the photos and we were very pleased. We did have a little problem figuring out the downstairs heating but overall we were able to get it comfortable. The property was perfect for our teen children as it had tons of games and plenty of space. We loved the location of this property as it was close enough to the base of the mountain to make traveling to town easy! We are very pleased with the entire trip. Communication with the host was amazing and they were super easy to work with.

Beautiful drive to the home! Clean and communication was prompt! Basement is a bit cool, however, we spent most of the time upstairs. Kitchen is huge and stocked well.

Spacious and great for family gatherings. However, guests need to bring their own soap as none of the bathrooms or kitchen had any. Also, I was disappointed that my request to check in an hour or two early was denied unless I wanted to pay an extra fee. I felt that was inappropriate especially when the place was vacant the day before (and I was travelling with a 91 year old).

The property was exactly as advertised. There was lots of room to spread out with a very well stocked kitchen for having big family meals. There were amole dishes, pots and serving pieces. I would definitely come back! My only frustration with the property was that there was no information on how to use the heating system or electric fireplaces. Within the unit. It was a cold, rainy weekend and the fireplace would have been nice. On-site property information and guides would be very helpful. After contacting the agent we still couldn’t figure it out. Also, I agree with another renter that it would have been nice to have more chairs outside (if the weather had cooperated)!

The only suggestions I would have would be to have more chairs on the porch (there was only one) and to send the check out information earlier (so people know what you expect, I attempted to find it on the internet, but couldn't find instructions prior to text). We were very happy with our stay.
