"Beautiful clean excellently equipped house in Matlock. Great parking, exceptionally clean. Large and spacious with an amazing kitchen and beautiful bathrooms. Lots of hot water. Great communication. Only downside for us as seniors was the very hilly area. We love to walk but the high location of this lovely home meant we preferred to drive, and therefore park, to visit the town. Beautiful house. "We stayed at this wonderful house in May 2024 to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. As a party of 8, we had both properties and everything was immaculate and so well thought out, even the provisions for our dog. The area is beautiful and I would recommend this to anyone to wants some peaceful away time to relax and chill. Daniel was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely return for a longer stay :)"

"Very helpful owner who brought us cake! The property has everything you need for a group of friends, with 9-10 separate beds. Downside is it is bit cramped - particularly the kitchen and the narrow spiral staircase. But for the price it's great and we'll probably go again."

Our youngest children really loved playing with the toys at the cottage and older ones appreciated the location of where we were staying. "A beautiful property with wonderful helpful hosts. This is a lovely place to stay and it’s pet friendly. There are stairs but hey it’s an apartment and not a bungalow. It’s unique and all of my party were very impressed by the decor, furnishings and wonderful location overlooking the river and so close to all that Matlock has to offer. 5* all the way. "

"Clean and well appointed, good location as centre for walking with shops in nearby Matlock. No windows so ventilation only via door at each end. Roof_light blinds in bedroom difficult to shut so early awakening in mid summer."

"We loved this super little cottage, the putting green outside was a pleasant surprise, all finished to a super standard. Nice to have supplied tea / coffee, milk and butter - would be nice to have had a nice local fresh loaf to go with the butter... just a thought!
