"The property was unique, comfortable and the host goes above and beyond. Important to know; The facility is a duplex though very private feeling. It is 20 min from Hobbiton, 75min from the glow worm caves. Each side has a unique character, dedicated parking, mostly private deck, bbq, and their very own outdoor private heated spa. One of the nicest places we stayed at on our trip. Thank you for sharing your hospitality with us!"

"Our host, Maria, was a delight. We came to the property late after Hobbiton due to a cancelled flight. No time to get a SIM card at the Auckland Airport so I missed her messages about leaving a key for us. She was so gracious when I knocked on her door and helped us get settled in. Let us some animal feed to give the animals at our leisure. Lovely to talk to and the master bed was so comfortable! Would book here again!"

"French Country House is a rare find. We absolutely loved everything about it. Romantic, charming rural setting with stunning views of the coast and Mount Manganui. The ambience is wonderful. "Fantastic place to stay. The hosts are really friendly and very helpful. Room and bathroom were clean and everything seemed to be new. Really comfortable bed. We enjoyed watching a film on a huge flatscreen TV. The breakfast was continental with freshly baked croissants and pastries. The B&B is placed in nice and quiet surroundings. I can highly recommend this B&B."
