"Down the steep driveway with my trailer was a feat, but what welcomed us was a country property with fantastic views of the lake. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces set the atmosphere, and kept the children working and warm! The kitchen and lounge areas were great for our home cooked meals, plus the oil heaters to keep us warm of a night in the middle of winter. Having the pontoon was a convenience for our short term fishing boat hire, which we thank you for, though the lake was only at 52% we...

"Lovely accommodation with clean & comfortable beds, clean bathroom & a well-stocked kitchen. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness as there were some cobwebs in one bedroom and another web hanging from the rafter in another bedroom!A minor downside was the lack of wifi. I wasn’t able to access my emails (sent at 3am on the day of checkout) for checkout instructions. That wasn’t a big issue but a better idea would be to leave a printed version in the folder on the table."
