"I chose this spot for its proximity to Slieve Donard, it was so close.. way closer than I expected. I loved the location and how it’s nestled off to the side but still in town so you can walk. You are right on the water and there are paths everywhere to get you where you want to go. "

"Great wee place. Nice and quiet and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Host was very kind in leaving local food and a bit of milk to get you going ( great idea for a cup of tea). Also has a chap of the door where I kind man gave me half a dozen fresh eggs. They were lovely and the eggs looked like what I used to see as a kid- white, brown and light blue. ( I think that he was the hosts father). Loved the Amazing fire stick which was useful for Prime, Netflix etc. Bed was really...

"The history, cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff; all combined to impress me from check-in to check-out. I slept soundly in a large comfortable bed and in the morning they served me a choice of a big vegetarian or meat-lover’s breakfast. Simply superb! Well done to the team at Kilmorey Arms Hotel ! My Mood Compass will no doubt draw me back there again soon. "

"I and 3 friends staying there in Oct, from the very start the welcome was v positive. My 3 American friends enjoyed an evening meal and all us enjoyed a drink later on. The barman / night porter was most engaging and good fun. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with great variety. The hotel is out of town and was very quiet. In fact I m returning again this week."

"Really peaceful place to stay, there was everything we needed in the cottage, i had to ring the host as tv wasnt working for us and the host arrived in about 10 mins to sort out. Weather wasnt the best when we where there, so it was nice and cosy staying in. I would recommend this cottage as we where very comfortable there "

"It was amazing. Surrounded by hills and the Mourne mountains and a view of the ocean in the distance. Woke up to cows in the front pasture and sheep in the back pasture each morning. So peaceful there. Cottage has everything one would need for a very pleasant stay."
