"As we had a full day on Friday, leaving home 5-am.visiting varios towns en-route,our last visit of the day was Burton--on --Trent ,to have an overdue meal before making our way to The Beeches . We were very pleased to be shown to our room. It was lovely, nice & clean & very comfortable, beds nice also.
Once settled in wanted to relax just for a little while ,& check something on the TV. but unfortunately unable to get it to work !!

"Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.

Old wall paper on the walls with marking on the paper , carpets need a refresh , small tv which needs to be replaced with a new tv on the wall.
Bathroom shower worked but needs a new shower as i couldnt properly turn the shower off after use.
Minamul tea facilities in room.
Veru poor standard of accommodation but it was quite cheap hotel .
Think i will book a different hotel next time"

But there was noise coming through the floor from the pub below til around 11 when the pub emptied and there was only a door between my room and the room next door and i suffered very noisy neighbours. Loud conversation til the small hours and then plenty of slamming doors throughout the night made for very little sleep.
The room itself was comfy enough and the facilities were clean too. Free parking was also nice....

"This place isn't a hotel in the traditional sense, more like a bar / restaurant mainly open for 'hotel' guests but don't let that put you off, it's a great place to stay. Very friendly atmosphere, staff can't do enough to help, food is excellent and rooms are quiet and comfortable. It's my preferred place to stay when I'm in the area."

"A basic but very clean and comfortable hotel. The lady on reception obviously loves her job, she was so friendly and helpful. McDonald's is next door for food. Will definitely stay here again. Oh and a message to management, give that receptionist a pay rise!"
