"The hotel is old and worn out. The staff in reception and in the restaurant were really service minded and helpful. My room was next to the ancient lift, which creaked and rumbled until about 1 am. The bathroom was in poor condition, with black mould in one corner, the shower curtain was old and dirty and the shower head was broken. The bedroom had old water stains in one corner, presumably from a leak in the roof and the carpet was stained. The bed (single) was clean and comfortable."

"This is a perfect place stay when you're in Ludlow. Just across from a reasonably priced car park, great food, beer and friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. "

"Basic accommodation but certainly clean, comfortable and an excellent night’s sleep. Staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfasts are really good. And it’s brilliant just to be able to tumble into bed above the bar where you’ve been enjoying live music. Great value for money (and we are repeat visitors !) "

"It it a really nice location with beautiful surroundings and the service and facilities are nice. Gym, spa and pool were good. The service weas excellent. Only thing to mention are the doors to the rooms that really needs a check. Really loud sqeeking and sound when you open and close. Could be heard loudly in the halls Likewise the doors in the rooms. ALso the food in the restaurant should be improved to match the price. Too simple servings. But I recommend to try the place !"
