This friendly clean and sweet hotel sits right next to the Youghiogheny River. Down a little road in this old town when you think this “can’t be right”…you find a very nice space, a restaurant next door also overlooking the river is a good place to catch football games and the beer and food is also good. "Had a wonderful stay here! The living room space was incredibly cozy. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, and we slept very well. Dan is a warm and friendly host, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. The kitchen facilities were excellent and fully equipped. We were able to cook two dinners there comfortably, and the self-serve breakfast was a nice touch. The location next to the river and railroad tracks. The surroundings are serene and relaxing. Would absolutely love to come back....

"After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater."

"We stayed at this hotel for night hault during a long trip. The hotel was very conveniently located on the highway and was well maintained. Room was clean. Coffee & juice was available at all times. The staff at the help desk was very polite and welcoming. Breakfast menu could have been better. Overall a good hotel. I would stay there again while travelling on the same route."
