"First, we visited the cabin in February when there was a bunch of snow on ground with more falling. This was a trip with our puppy (his first trip). He loved playing in the snow and the property had a nice loop around the back that was easy to take him for a walk without having to go somewhere. "We had a fantastic time at this property. Very comfortable setting, everything you need is right there. We stayed out by the fire pit deep into the night and were lucky enough to hear a great-horned owl in the distance. "We rented the house for our Thanksgiving and had a great time. It was the perfect quiet spot to spend time with family. There were plenty of things to see on our walks and my son had a great time playing on the frozen shore of the lake. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a quiet place to get away together!"

"Wonderful area, extremely private and quiet. Cabin was cozy and had everything you could ask for. We were unable to enjoy the lake and fire pit because of the weather but enjoyed the wood stove. Will be back! Hosts were amazing. Reached out just to make sure we were ok because the temps had dropped so much!! Meant a lot to us!!"

"One of the best rental houses our family has stayed in! Very spacious and well designed indoor space, very clean, and for my legally blind husband - the best lighting we’ve encountered! "Great cabin - clean, comfy beds and very quiet! Only complaint was the house water had an awful sulphur smell and we couldn’t drink it. Even taking showers & brushing teeth was unpleasant. Would suggest getting a whole house water filter and then the property would be 5 star!"

"Lovely stay at Henckley Reservoir. Emily & Kim(s) gave nice attention to detail like the waters and snacks available for excursions. We rented a pontoon boat and Andre was a great captain showing us around the lake first. Loved having a clean private beach to ourselves and the paddleboards and kayaks were easy to use. The view afternoon and evening was lovely including the loons. Thank you so much! Cabin was very comfortable and clean and up to date."

"We had a great stay at this cabin! My husband and I traveled with our 6 month old baby and our friends who have an 18 month old to New York for the total eclipse, and this rental was a great home base for us during the trip. It had a great location and was only a short drive from Old Forge. The wood stove kept the cabin cozy at night and our hosts were so communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place to other travelers looking for a rustic but cozy cabin experience."
