Fantastisk Ferie
Vi havde et virkelig skønt ophold sammen med bedsteforældre og vores søn på 4 år. Perfekt indrettet lejlighed med alt hvad man kunne drømme om at have brug for. Det skønneste værtspar som besvarede alle de spørgsmål vi måtte have.

Appartement très grand! Tranquille
Séjour fabuleux ! L'emplacement quelque peu loin dans les montagnes mais vue magnifique ! À environ 15 min. de la A7. Nous étions 4 et l'appartement était assez grand ! Le rez de jardin était super! Nous étions à 3 minutes à pieds du terrain de golf! Un 9 trous par 3 très challenging et gratuit avec l'appartement. Le resto du golf était excellent ! Je le recommande !

A pleasant stay
Lovely spacious apartment on a pretty development, set in lush gardens. Good gym down at the clubhouse, and great to be able to use the tennis court and table tennis table. Pitch and putt golf course was really well cared for, and pretty fun for a bit of chipping practice. Clubhouse restaurant was a nice place to be. The food we had was good, although the menu was mostly designed to cater for Brits. Swimming pools were well cared for, but unfortunately too cold to swim at this time of year (we knew this would be a risk). Apartment was well equipped, and it was also handy to have some tennis rackets / beach stuff / golf clubs to use. Overall we had a good time, and the views from up on the hillside were beautiful. The only reason we've given it 4 stars, is that the 'jacuzzi' bath was unusable - the jets were no longer in working order and so were full of mould, which meant we were unable to use the bath for the children. Also, it is worth noting that the lounge/terrace/garden side of the apartment is north facing, which meant the sun was never on it whilst we were there. Great for the hot summers, but at this time of year we would have liked a south facing property. This was my fault for not checking before booking though! Kimberley and Russ were very responsive, and good hosts.

Fantastic getaway
We absolutely loved our stay here and enjoyed everything about the apartment - from having two bedrooms plus two bathrooms (great for our family), to the comfort of the apartment in general, which stayed cool throughout the day even when we had the AC turned off, had a nice outdoor area/patio and view, and well-equipped kitchen. We loved the different pool areas to choose from and that each pool area had bathrooms available. It was never hard to find comfy spots in the shade or sun. Having tennis, golf and a gym was also great for our family. The drive up and down to town on a windy road felt difficult at times, but the quiet peacefullness of the location on top of the hill made it worth it. Info online about who to contact when arriving does need to be updated, but we made contact with owner quickly when unable to reach listed contact person and thereafter had no issues. Loved this property and location!

Très bon contact avec les propriétaires repondez au mail dès que l’on avait une question.appartement correct(la machine à laver ,le sèche-linge et le lave vaiselle est un plus.)les 2 salles de bain super aussi on gagne du temp.Le cadre extérieur était magnifique les piscines superbes.Il faut absolument prévoir une voiture ,je vais pas dire que c’est un point négatif car kimberley ns l’avez conseillé.bref à refaire sans hésitation

Beautiful place with wonderful views
Kimberley was great from start to finish. The property is wonderful with fantastic views from the balcony onto the mountains. Choice of pools which were clean and not busy. Gym was great with jacuzzi and steam room to relax after a workout. Putting green and short but tricky 9 hole course were fun. We loved playing paddle tennis. Lots to do and everything was a short ride away. Peaceful and we all had a great time! Easy process to check in and out with secure parking inside. Highly recommended.

Beatifull place
We stayed 11 days at Kimberleys place. It was a very nice appartement with all we needed for a nice vacation . The surroundings are quite and beatifull. Kimberley and Russel are very helpfull and informative hosts. They reply very quickly on any respons. The sports facilities were available every dag. Good space at the pools. No need for reservation for sunbeds early in the morning :)

Enjoyable getaway
The apartment was clean in all rooms and furnished in a comfortable manner. It catered for all our needs with a well equipped kitchen, free Wifi and a lovely outside area with fantastic views down to the coast. There are facilities for all sorts of sports enthusiasts, as well as a challenging 9 hole golf course. The food at the club house restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced, perfect for those times when no one wanted to cook. The apartment is set up in the hills above Elviria and has great access to beaches and all the most popular places on the Costa del Sol, as well as motorway access to beautiful cities like Seville, Cordoba, Cadiz, Ronda, Malaga and Granada. The booking process was easy and the owner very accommodating and supportive. I would be happy to book again in the future.

Excelente apartamento
Excelente apartamento, com todas as condições necessárias e inserido num espetacular condomínio, fantásticas piscinas, o único senão para nós que gostamos de fazer praia e sair para jantar e compras, realmente fica um pouco fora, pois apesar se serem poucos kms são em uma estrada de montanha.

El Soto is a beautiful resort, quiet and peaceful, tucked into the side of the mountain high above the busy coast. And yet a ten minutes drive brings you straight to Nikki beach where you can walk forever in the sand and waves. We spent a month here and enjoyed our time immensely. The Covid 19 crisis marred the last week of our stay but communication with the owner was excellent. We were afraid of being stuck and not able to get home and she immediately assured me that we would be able to stay on at the condo! The apartment is clean and welcoming and very well supplied. The bed was comfortable. We came to enjoy the twisty road down to the village and the beach... and we ate several meals at the restaurant which was first class! Great fish and chips! It is a place we would return to.

Great Apartment
Comfort of apartment, space, how it was equipped all great. Beds marvellous night sleep! Had to leave after first few fats unfortunately, not due to apartment or owners. So we didn’t get the full stay there. However when we did it was enjoyable. Barbecue could have been cleaned for us, still dirty from use by previous holiday makers and if planting for attractiveness around the terrace then it would look better if deadheading plants were carried out. Instructions with the new job would have helped when we first came to use it. It kept turning itself off. However spacious terrace, but not much sun on it. Though it lead out onto garden which did for part of the day. Very quiet, beautiful views and a walk across to the golf club just as it stated in the advert. Couldn’t fault the apartment and we had U.K. channels on freeview too.

Beautiful apartment, fabulous pools!!
We are a family of 4 and have just returned from our recent stay at this beautiful apartment. Kimberley was in contact throughout the booking process and could answer any queries we had and provided very clear information about how to find and gain access to the property. El Soto complex is at the top of a mountain! Beautiful views but you absolutely need a car and a dedicated garage parking space is provided with the apartment. Apartment is on the ground floor, 1 flight up from the garage. On arrival the apartment was beautifully clean, it’s very spacious and has a terrace and private garden which is really large. Well equipped kitchen and utility and everything you need is provided. 4 gorgeous pools to choose from and we often had them to ourselves, even in the middle of August. There is a golf club within walking distance - you need a key and fob (provided) to get through the gates and they do great food and live music on weekends. Overall a perfect relaxed holiday which was just what we needed. It is quiet and tranquil and within easy driving distance of lovely beaches and resorts. Elviria itself has lovely restaurants and bars and plenty of supermarkets and although has a lovely buzz is not too busy. Kudu restaurant just up the hill from El Soto is definitely worth a visit too! Our children are 8 and 12 and it was perfect for them (WiFi is brilliant) and very secure. Thanks to Kimberley for letting us stay, we hope to be back!

Peaceful break in a well equipped Apartment
We booked this apartment for a four week period in January for a peaceful break away from some of the English winter. The apartment did not disappoint in any way . It is very well equipped even down to cutlery where there was an abundance as against the 4 spoons 4 forks and 4 knives you so often get. At the top of the hill in Elviria heights you are car dependent but it is only five minutes down the hill to Elvirias many amenities. In return you get all the peace and quiet you could want. El Soto is a pleasant community with small but challenging golf course and a welcoming club house with friendly staff and very reasonable prices for food and drink. In practical terms arrival was straight forward, one phone call once at Malaga airport and we were met at the clubhouse and taken to the apartment and "shown the ropes". Equally on departure it was simply a case of leaving the keys in the apartment and walking out. So straight forward. We recommend this apartment. For us it was a great low season location and we suspect in high summer it would also offer a cool retreat from the crowds.

Superbe résidence et bel appartement
La résidence El Soto est magnifique, entièrement sécurisée. L'appartement de Kimberley est de grand confort. La literie est top niveau!On dort divinement bien. Nous avons juste eu le désagrément du store de la pièce à vivre qui était cassé quand nous sommes arrivés. On nous avait promis de le réparer au cours de la 1ère semaine de septembre mais à notre départ le 22/09 (3 semaines de séjour), il n'y avait toujours pas de store dans la pièce. Fort heureusement il ne faisait pas trop chaud Maus le store était posé entouré sur la terrasse et génait pour le passage. Certains carreaux de la cuisine était cassés, c'est dommage de ne pas changer ce sol dégradé dans un si bel appartement. Dernier point, on entend beaucoup les voisins et les meubles sont très lourds et difficiles à bouger (chaises bruyantes lorsqu'on les déplace). Il aurait été de bon ton de mettre des chaises plus légères dans ce cas......mais ça ce n'est qu'un détail. Le point le plus négatif reste l'éloignement du 1er village tant pour les courses que pour les plages ou promenades. On n'est qu'à 7kms d'Elvira mais par une route de montagne digne des sports d'hiver (virages en tête d'épingles se succèdent sur 7 kms!!) Par contre pour se reposer et ne pas bouger, profiter de la résidence les piscines et le golf magnifique, c'est l'endroit idéal! En résumé, bel appartement qui aurait besoin d'un petit coup de neuf mais qui bénéficie de bons équipements (lits, lave linge excellent, sèche linge parfait!)Merci aussi à Vicky qui s'est occupée de notre accueil sur place.

I am sorry to hear about the shutter not working I did instruct a company to come a fix it, but I understand that they did not turn up. Its a shame you did not report it to me as I could have arranged someone to fix it. I’m wondering if you went on the correct road to El Soto it is a country road with a few bends but I would not call them hair pin bends. It would be lovely to see you back again. Superb apartment in a superb complex. Perfect summer holiday accommodation for a family of four
Just back from a fabulous two week stay in Kimberley’s clean, modern, comfortable, well equipped and spacious two bedroom apartment in the excellent El Soto complex. Fully equipped kitchen, large and comfortable bedrooms, a lovely dining, lounge and TV area and a perfect outdoor dining area backing onto neat gardens with great views. Three of El Soto’s fabulous pools, all set in beautifully presented gardens, are within two minutes walk of the apartment. Lovely (free) informal pitch and put golf course with comfortable clubhouse providing good food, a basic gym and tennis. Car is essential. El Soto complex is an 8-10 minutes drive up a windy road into the Elviria hills. Drive appears long and never ending with tight bends at first - but soon becomes second nature after a couple of journeys and actually quite fun, especially on the way down! Good choice of good quality restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets in Elviria town at the bottom of the hill just off the main coastal road. Recommend the extra 2 minutes drive out of Elviria along the main coastal road to the nearby Lidl for stocking up. Elviria beach (home to the Nikki Beach club) is nice but other local beaches are wider with better selection of shops, bars, kiosks and restaurants. Highly recommend the 20 minutes drive to Puerto Banus beach for beach days. Marbella old town and La Canada mall an easy 10 minutes drive. Highly recommend this property. Perfect for us as a family of four with two adult children. Hotel standard double sink en suite bathrooms to each bedroom particularly welcome after recent family holidays sharing a single hotel bathroom. Thanks very much to Kimberley for being so helpful and for the use of her lovely apartment!

Beautiful holiday apartment in the hills near Elvira
Beautiful apartment - home away from home, this has everything you could possibly need. Stunning views and the pools are close to the apartment. Kimberley was a pleasure to deal with. Food in the clubhouse is excellent and staff were very friendly. Town is about 10 mins drive - this really is in a great location to explore the Costa del sol. Would highly recommend this lovely apartment.

Beautiful gardens and views. Well equipped apartment and would definitely return.
We were a bit daunted by the drive up the mountain but you soon get used to it and it isn't as far as you first think. The views and the apartment are worth it. The complex is beautiful, lovely gardens and swimming pools. Spotlessly clean and lovely surrounding areas to explore.

Great stay in lovely apartment
Lovely comfortable apartment, our hostess couldn't do enough to make our stay more enjoyable. The complex has good facilities with a challenging little golf course, also excellent gym and great restaurant. Would recommend and will hopefully go back.
