This exclusive community is made up of seven elevated homes, each offering stunning views of Shelter Bay and direct access to both the Ocean and Gulf. Whether you’re here to relax, fish, or explore the Keys, Vaca Cove provides an unforgettable experience for families and groups.
Property Features:
Spacious & Comfortable Living: Each 1,740 sq. ft. home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, designed with an open floor plan to maximize comfort and ease. With 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 2 twin beds, there’s plenty of space for up to 8 guests. Enjoy the convenience of a fully stocked kitchen, large laundry area, and high-speed wireless internet, plus 5 flat-screen TVs to keep everyone entertained.
Outdoor Relaxation: Step outside to your private waterfront porch with picturesque views of Bonefish Bay. Enjoy the shared resort-style saltwater pool, lounge chairs, and tiki hut, perfect for soaking up the sun or unwinding after a day of adventure. Each home also includes a private spa, gas grill, bait freezer, and a picnic table located underneath the house—ideal for family dinners or sunset cocktails.
Boating & Fishing: Vaca Cove is a boater's paradise with 35 feet of deep-water dockage per unit, equipped with electricity and water for your convenience. One boat per unit is permitted, and the property also offers access to kayaks (first-come, first-serve) for those who prefer exploring by water. Fish right from the dock or take a short trip to prime fishing locations nearby.
Covered Parking & Boat Trailer Storage: Each unit comes with covered parking for two vehicles and one boat trailer (up to 37 feet). Please ensure that vehicles and trailers remain under your unit during your stay.
Location & Nearby Attractions:
Vaca Cove is ideally located near Vaca Cut, providing quick and easy access to both the Gulf and Ocean. The property is just minutes from local attractions like the Turtle Hospital, Dolphin Research Center, Bahia Honda State Park, and Key West. Dining, shopping, and entertainment are all within walking distance, and the area is perfect for day trips, wildlife watching, or relaxing on the water.
Located adjacent to the property is a boat launch and marina with lift service, fuel dock as well as indoor storage in case you wish to leave your boat in the Keys for your next trip! We have had several guests stay at Sea Forever, store their boat indoors then return a month or so later in the season. Their boat is stored close, safe and ready to go for their return arrival! We know that boating and fishing in a new area can create a learning curve. Upon request, we will provide our guests with some coordinates and locations of terrific fishing spots and snorkel areas. Marathon and the surrounding waters offer some of the best sport fishing, reef snorkeling and wreck diving in the world. We want you to get your vacation going from the minute you arrive. We will shorten the learning curve and get you on the fish right away! Our fishing and boating guide will be an invaluable tool to the novice and those arriving for their first time. We just ask that you share photos of your catch with us!

- Must be 25 years or older to book and must be present for the entire stay

- Max occupancy reflects the number of guests allowed per city regulations and does not guarantee sleeping accommodations for that number—please review the bed description carefully (occupancy number included infants and children)
- Please follow all rules and regulations, as we will have to enforce the highest Penalty if any are broken.

Special Reminder:
Vacation Rentals of the Florida Keys provides a complimentary starter set of items, including soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, and laundry detergent. Guests are responsible for providing additional supplies for the remainder of their stay. Starter items are typically located in the bathrooms, at the kitchen sink, and in the laundry area.

By booking this property—whether directly with us or through a third party site—you and your party expressly agree to these Terms and Conditions. A deposit or completed booking serves as acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms. After your reservation is confirmed, the Terms and Conditions will be sent to you via an e-sign document, which is required to be completed. If the e-sign is not completed, access to the virtual guidebook and arrival details will not be provided. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
