Salty kisses is a piece of paradise in Marathon. Gorgeous brand new 5 bedrooms,4 bathrooms single family home with open balconies to capture the breeze and enjoy with your family and friends.

  • Today we embarked on a 7 mile kayak journey around Boot Key. This is a mangrove island that is full of bird life and beautiful waterways. Highlights today were osprey, king fishers, sharks, jelly fish, egrets and so many more birds that we could not identify. Please enjoy

Views

The home was the right size for our party of 10 there is a lot of construction, so there is a lot of noise and getting out of the cul-de-sac was tricky at times with all the trucks coming and going. Barbie was terrific and responded quickly anytime I had a question. View from the deck is wonderful and we even saw dolphins one morning! Marathon is a beautiful area and we enjoyed our time in the Keys.

Salty Kisses

Overall the house was amazing and plenty enough room for 11 adults. The view was amazing. The problem was the rotten egg smell outside from the sea grass. It’s so strong it ruins the experience. The other problem is the construction on both sides of the house. They are building new houses on each side, there is no privacy and very loud. The construction debris was flying into our pool. The day before we rented, we were asked if we wanted to heat the pool for 75 a day and if we wanted to rent a propane tank for 60 for the outdoor grill. This seems excessive and should be included in the price of the stay like other rentals. I would not rent in this area again.

Christmas 2024

Overall property was beautiful and there was nothing we could have wanted inside the house. Yes, there was construction but we were lucky we were there the week of Christmas so work was only done on 2 days during our stay. The 2 downsides to our week was not having a working TV in Tiki Hut on Christmas Day to watch football and the smell of sea grass that was blown in.

Graduation Celebration

Put my granddaughters and daughter and son-in-law to celebrate granddaughters graduation. First time in the keys. The house was fabulous.The view from the living kitchen area spectacular. Highly recommend this place.

Great views & spectacular house on Marathon Key!

This place was awesome and the kids and adults had a fantastic time, with fantastic views and fun in the pool, which is right next to the ocean. There is a king suite that faces the water, has a balcony and large en suite bathroom. The bed very very comfortable! There is another king suite at the end of the hall, with laundry, another bathroom and two more bedrooms in between. The girls absolutely loved the bunk room! One the main level there was another Queen bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed with tools and cookwear. We wish it would have had more plastic platters/bowls to bring snacks safely by the pool and tiki bar. It also had a Nespresso machine! There are plenty of games in the living room and a game room on the lower level with foosball, TV and sectional couch. Our girls loved hanging out down there! The tiki bar was pretty fun too, and also included a nice grill. There is still construction going on all along the road, but it never disrupted our time there. We rented a boat, which we were able to park at the dock just steps away from the house. There is a RaceTrack gas station in walking distance and we stocked up on snacks and drinks daily. Other good food in walking distance was Keys Fisheries, the lobster ruben is famous. You can make a reservation at Florida Keys Steak & Lobster and the food and service were amazing. Porky's had amazing breakfast takeout (but not such a good dinner). Do the dolphin experience at the Dolphin Research!

Salty Kisses is Amazing!

This home is stunning! Large rooms beautifully decorated with incredible views, on the Gulf side. Hosts were great & responded immediately. Lots of room for our family vacation! It is located in a new development with lots of privacy yet close to grocery, beaches & more. Loved our vacation at Salty Kisses, Marathon.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Leslie was very great about checking in and ensuring we had everything we needed. She was very responsive to any questions we had both before and during the trip. The house was super clean and had all the accommodations for our large group. We will absolutely be staying again.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view!

The house was amazing and VERY clean. The area is being built up so there was some construction, but not bad at all. We were able to keep our boat in a protected slip. The views from the back deck and upstairs master are beautiful. We would definitely rent this house again!

Family visit to Salty Kisses

The house was exactly what we needed fo a family visit of 9 people in three related families. There were lengthy of bedrooms and beds, and the kitchen was very well outfitted. There were games, bikes, and a nice pool. Salty Kisses is the first completed home in a new development, so there is construction activity and noise going on during the week. One leasing surprise was a visit from a manatee to a dock in the development.
