"We stayed 2 nights at the hotel, and had been looking forward to a great experience. The hotel had a great location, next to the Medina and was 5 star, with many good reviews. The hotel is a hotels.com VIP hotel.
All the above sounds great on writing, but only the location is true.
As VIP hotel we expected a much better hotel. The hotel has 16 rooms, and is in an old jail. The room we got, which was not possible to change - also felt like a jail. It was in basement floor, and some of the only...

"Service was superb from Haytham in front office to Hazma at the restaurant and all the others that I can’t recall their names. With a smile and very professional - made me feel at home. The view from the hotel is magnificent - the blue Mediterranean is right in front of you. I ate at the restaurant every night different things - loved the sea bass and the meze of sea food but everything was excellent. All in all I had an excellent stay at La Villa Bleue. "
