Terrible service ruined our stay
Worst Check-in ever. We were the only people checking in, but it took 80 minutes.
The manager greeted us by commanding us to stand at the other counter. We did as he demanded and presented our booking with hotels.com. He quickly seemed frustrated and confused - barked at his staff and didn't give us any information whatsoever. Just sit down he said. Half an hour passed. Just sit down he said every time we asked what was going on. He kept asking our booking with Expedia and every time we reminded him that we had booked - and payed - with hotels.com
They had obviously lost our booking, but he kept insisting that they had just misplaced our key. Meanwhile the manager was calling around obviously trying to ship us off to a different hotel. He told us this after an hour. 20min later we were able to get a room after all. We were nervous the whole time in case we would have to go looking for a new hotel.
When we got to the room we were met by a very damp smell(No vent in the bathroom). Dirty bed covers that they had tried to cover up with liquid paper. And then there were red worms crawling out of the drain in the bathroom, which was a bit unpleasant.
Allround: Terrible service.
Positives: Nice staff in the restaurant (Budi was a gentleman) and fair prices there. The view is also lovely from there.
