"It’s an ok hotel for the price if you are OK with a 3 star hotel that is worn. Nice pool area and beach, and friendly staff. Breakfast buffet is not good to be honest. Classes not clean, not big variety or quality. There is an omelette stand, but be aware of getting black “stuff” from the omelette pan on the eggs as well. We decided to leave the hotel for Marriott instead because of our expectations was not met. But lower your expectations from 4 star, then OK and good price. "

"Really nice place, with very friendly staff. However, do not expect luxury. It is in the middle of the jungle and there are ants, cockroaches, gekkos etc. And the room does not have mosquito net. It did not bother me, but my girlfriend would not have been comfortable. Still, for the price, i would rate it 5 out of 5 and it worked perfect as two days accomodation for exploring sinharaja. It is directly next to the gate and have beautiful view of the forest and nice infinity swimming pool...

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Sandhya and it is definitely a place we want and long to come back to. The design is very Scandinavian and we like the colors, materials and vibe that brings along. The breakfast is good, the service is good, they make very nice dinner and cocktails too! The view of the ocean is breathtaking from all rooms. This is a place we're there is attention to ALL little details. Such as cushions on the sunbeds, fresh beach towels, your room is made twice a day, water...

"We were greeted with a delicious welcome juice and a cold towel. Check in was speedy, bags were promptly delivered to our room and the room itself was spacious, cool and with a nice view. The hotel provides towels for the beach as well as the pool and the breakfast was a good spread with an egg station. All staff were friendly and calm. Coconut tree hill is a very short walk and mirissa beach was 200lrk in a tuk tuk but was also walkable. Would definitely stay again"

"I had a really wonderful time at Tabula Rasa. Felt like the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was perfect. The location is stunning. It is worth being located up hill in the peace and quiet, and so easy to pop out in a tuk tuk. The food was really good, I expected to eat out more but, I’d often crave the chef’s dhal! I was able to eat really good plant based meals without getting bored of the menu. The chef would come out to chat, and was very keen to ensure I enjoyed the food. All...
