The road at front of property provides access only to the village, with no through traffic. Villa Blanco has been undergoing improvements throughout the winter and all of the issues mentioned in your review have now been resolved. If we were made aware of the issues at the time of your stay, we could have sent somebody to resolve them all immediately. To summarise; the electricity panel and earthing has had a full inspection, a gate has been added to the side of the property for security and safety, the travel cot has been replaced, patio slabs in the garden re-laid, jacuzzi is now installed and fully functional, and the toilet cistern in the main bathroom has been replaced. Thank you for taking the time to provide your comments, we always appreciate feedback on the property. I am pleased you recognised the many positives of the villa, and think the price of a property capable of sleeping 11 people in this area is very reasonable. You rightly state it conveniently located on one of the two small roads into the small village, meaning it is easily to locate but without the disruption of much traffic. It is in fact very popular with families, who have commented that the private pool and secure rear garden makes it ideal for young children. I appreciate there are a few steps from the road to the property, but also think the 2 ground floor bedrooms (one with en-suite) makes it equally suitable for the elderly. As we explained during your stay the quote provided does state that the price includes end cleaning and laundry only. This is a conscious decision to keep charges low for guests, and again is reflective in the competitive price paid. However, the Villa does benefit from a washing machine if people wish to do laundry, and mid stay cleaning and laundry can be arranged for an extra fee. Being a traditional Spanish garden, we are very proud of the established Bougainvillea flowers throughout the front and back gardens. The gardeners work hard to keep these in shape, and clear any petals that may have fallen before guests arrive. However, I accept at times when it may be windy (there were a couple of days like this during your stay, as you will recall) petals may fall from the bushes. The gardeners consciously do not visit during a guest stay so as not to intrude on your holiday. As you were in contact with us during you stay when you lost the keys on your arrival day, and further when we printed your return boarding passes we would have happily attended if you had made us aware of the problem with the petals and arranged some mid-stay gardening for you. I am glad you enjoyed Cala Murada. As you say it is a perfect location, which whilst small boosts a beach, a number of restaurants and bars as well as two small supermarkets and a children’s play area. Most guests actively choose this over the larger more commercialised resorts on the island for the very reason it offers a much more traditional Spanish holiday.
