"Perfect spot to unwind in Raglan. Holly even had the crib set up before we got there and there was a secret stash of toys in the cabinet that kept our young son busy for days. Cool layout and nice appliances, including outdoor grill and fireplace and close to beaches/surfing. Would definitely recommend. If traveling with a small child consider bringing your own high chair as that was one thing they didn't have. All in all it's a great spot though and we'd book it again."

"Lovely accommodation, warm, and well equipped with everything you could possibly wish for. Fantastic views and within walking distance to the beach. We took our two large dogs with us and they had a marvelous time. Section well fenced for our 4 legged friends. Fishing was marvelous and so many places to fish from. "Our third time to visit, hopefully WIFI will be added to the property. The neighbours dog was bold, making its way throught the back door to pull out the garbage. He wasn't deterred when shooed away, the owner heard me and took control of the dog"

"This was a great place to chill out, with a wonderful outlook over Aotea Harbour and very quiet at this time of year (end April). Neat and clean with very a well equipped kitchen. It was comfortable for our stay but expect it could get very hot in summer, and be cold in winter (only one small panel heater for a large space)."

"Great location in a quite street, roomy house with comfy beds. The owner was lovely and helpful and mentioned places to see. Sea views were small but patsy did mention she was going to cut back some trees. I must mention the shower was a 2/10 for pressure. Other than that we had a very pleasant stay.Thank you Patsy 😊"

"We stay here as a family frequently. This is our preferred accommodation in Kawhia and we always book to stay here. We frequently return to Kawhia for funerals and Marae related occasions. It's spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. You have all you need to cook meals with eating utensils. Washing machine etc available upon request for laundry needs. The shower and bathroom is modern, clean with plenty of hot water. Finally, the owners went out of their way, to return belongings accidentally...

"My wife and I stayed at Whale Bay Surf Bach for 4 nights in April and agreed it was one of the best stays we have ever had. The location and views are incredible. Nothing beats checking the surf from your bed, taking a private entrance to one of the best breaks in the country, and then relaxing in the jacuzzi with ocean views. The property itself was very clean and had all the right amenities. Hope to return again soon!"
