The location was simply stunning, with easy access to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. "I had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill with my Mrs and two daughters aged 5 and 9. Reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about how secure we would be and the state of the hotel, but it all turned out to be exaggerated and we had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill.
The family spirit from the front desk to the kitchen and Nephew Thomas assisting was truly amazing. The hotel is very well placed for tourists (in particular Danes wanting to see some historical sites). So can only recommend this...

Right in the middle of the city, but be prepared to force 100 steps to come to your room.
Free and fine Wifi, but only on the terrase (hotel lobby).
Great view from our balcony.

"The room was very nice and clean. I stayed one night. I had a ground floor room which had a sunken living room. There were 2 high steps up to the bed, bathroom and kitchen. The deck was nice with furniture. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove and small frig. Note that the reception desk has very limited hours and they do not answer the phone. Keys are left or you.
I ate at the restaurant, which is open at night, and enjoyed the food and live steel drum musician who plays on Friday night. The coffee...

"If you're not a person who likes big resorts and looks for something a little more low key, The Hideaway is it. Beautiful, well-kept grounds. The room was fresh and clean. The pool and pavilion are in the middle of the cottages, and the beach is literally right outside the gate. My first day there, I had the entire beach to myself (beach is very nice and clean).
