"We absolutely loved this hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle, making it very relaxing and peaceful. The beach is not one to spend a lot of time on, as it has a lot of seaweed and is home to the turtle breeding program, but the pool is great for a swim. The food from the restaurant was very good with plenty of options, including local cuisine. Although it is not easy to explore on foot from the hotel, there were a number of trips you can take and the hotel driver was really friendly and...

"We had an amazing stay at this resort in Dominica—it truly felt like an escape into nature. The views were incredible, and the whole setting was peaceful and refreshing.
One of the highlights was the food. Every meal was outstanding, and Chef Damien made the experience unforgettable. You can tell a lot of care and creativity goes into each dish—it was easily some of the best food I’ve had while traveling.
The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly proud of their country. They loved sharing...

"I have now been staying at Fort Young a good handful of times and it is always a pleasure to visit. The rooms have been done up since my last visit and some sort of construction was still going on outside but not disturbing. In general a great stay as always but avoid they breakfast. The morning staff in the restaurant is letting the hotel down. Service is below the usual standard and the buffet consists of lots of empty trays...you'll be lucky to fill your plate.
