"The manager and staff were super nice which is really what made our stay. They went over and beyond to make us comfortable. The facilities are average but some of it does need an update as the A/C units are really loud and the curtains aren't in great condition. Also the Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms and so to use Wi-Fi you need to go to the common area which in the evenings gets a TON of mosquitoes so that wasn't idea. But the pool was nice and landscaping was well-maintained. "

"We used the hotels as a base for a safari tour and it was an ideal base. The location is great, being a short walk (1500m) out of Tissa. Lake Wind Resort is a beautiful heritage building that has had life injected again by new management. The team could not have been more helpful and attentive.
