"Room not up to standards"

"I was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The hotel was super clean, and the staff were super friendly. The breakfast was great and the coffee all day was awesome! Our room was even better. We expected a bed and a bathroom and nothing else. When we walked in we had a full kitchen which was a great surprise and super useful for us. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we are in the area. We originally booked for two nights but extended for another which was seamless."

"The staff didn’t seem to have much urgency on helping guests. We were told on the phone that we could check-in early at 1pm, so we arrived early. We weren’t able to check-in until past 3:30. Had they not told us to come in early, we wouldn’t have. The staff was pretty unhelpful and didn’t seem to care that we were waiting so long (per their direction), stated that they were understaffed and that check-in wasn’t until 3. "This property needs new management and major renovations. Everything is old and not that clean. The ceiling was leaking water, the bathroom was dirty and disgusting, the bathroom door handles were broken, and the carpets were sticky. We could barely sleep because of the poor condition of the room."

"The woman who greeted us upon arrival was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Our very spacious, well-designed room looked and smelled clean. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. And the free breakfast buffet was excellent! The food was hot, and they served a large variety of very tasty food options! The room was quiet outside, of a common hotel issue of loud A/C systems."
